#EATWISE

#eatwise: It's been our motto from the beginning.

But "eating wisely" certainly doesn't mean "eating bland" – quite the opposite! Wisdom involves bringing pleasure to both the mind and the body because good eating habits only become a part of daily life if they are enjoyable to follow. That's why our commitments are based on three pillars, unchanged since 2016... and not about to change anytime soon!

1. Good for your body

Sourcing of Products and Transparency

We are uncompromising when it comes to the quality of our products, which are of natural origin and 100% plant-based. We do not use refined sugar, additives, flavor enhancers, preservatives, GMOs, gluten, or animal products. Our menus change every three months to align with the seasons, and we make use of local resources whenever possible. Unfortunately – or rather, fortunately! – ingredients like coconut, raw cacao, or almonds that we use in many of our preparations for their nutritional and flavor benefits don't grow in the Parisian region.

So, to ensure you don't spend the entire winter eating only cabbage and apples, we also use frozen fruits and vegetables. And if sometimes we source certain products from afar, it's because we can't find them locally with equivalent quality. But wherever they come from, all our suppliers adhere to the same sustainability and environmental responsibility standards. This ensures that you always consume products grown under the best conditions and harvested at peak ripeness, when their taste and benefits are optimal.

100% PLANT-BASED ・ NO PLASTIC ・ HOMEMADE ・ GLUTEN-FREE ・ NO ADDITIVES ・ COLD-PRESSED ・ NO HPP

Home (well) made

Our recipes are all developed in our laboratories in Paris, with one dedicated to juices and other beverages, and the other to solid preparations. We use products in their purest form, unprocessed, to offer you ultra-fresh dishes without any additives, which are delivered to our cafes every morning. We also manufacture some of our raw materials ourselves, such as almond milk used in our smoothie, frozen bowl, and latte recipes.

Ancient Preparation Methods

Soaking nuts, seeds, and grains to remove toxic anti-nutrients, pre-germinating to ensure uniform food development, fermenting to increase their nutrient content (vitamins, minerals, and trace elements)... These artisanal techniques are time-consuming, but they help preserve your health, nature, flavor, and properties of the food: at Wild, we prefer to gain quality over time. The ingredients we use in our dishes and drinks are more digestible and better absorbed by the body, contributing to lightening both the body and the mind, enhancing immunity, and restoring vitality and balance.

Gentle Cooking

Nothing is cooked at more than 100°C! This cooking method, known as "gentle" cooking, helps preserve nutrients – including water-soluble vitamins like those from the B group – as well as the flavors, colors, and textures of the food, enhancing the pleasure of tasting. It also allows us not to use fats for cooking; these fats are added raw to the preparations without being denatured.

Cold-Pressed Juices

The nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes in fruits and vegetables are delicate and degrade under the heat produced by conventional centrifugation. That's why we use hydraulic cold pressing, which slowly crushes the foods, replicating the chewing process. By being shielded from overheating and oxidation, the foods retain their nutritional qualities and authentic taste. Our juices do not contain added sugar, of course, nor any additives, not even filtered water. So, in a 33cl bottle, there are approximately 500g of fruits, and nothing else!

No HPP or Preservatives in Our Juices

The HPP process, which stands for High Pressure Processing, is a cold-press preservation technique that kills microorganisms but also damages vitamins and enzymes. At Wild, our juices are cold-pressed and contain no preservatives or additives of any kind. This ensures that they are always ultra-fresh and more satisfying than their pasteurized counterparts. Loaded with

Superfoods and Targeted Benefits

Superfoods or superfoods are plant-based elements (fruits, vegetables, seeds, algae, plants, spices, certain oils...) that are richer in nutrients than the average, offering specific health and well-being benefits. Spirulina, maca, chlorella, chia seeds, beets, kale, watercress, broccoli, cayenne pepper... as well as flaxseed, olive oil, and coconut oil: all these natural superfoods are integrated into our recipes, enhancing both their flavors and benefits to provide you with well-being and balance.

No one comes to us just to save the planet, but above all because it's delicious! This is Wild's primary commitment, which underpins all the others: to offer you a variety of beverages, dishes, and desserts with balanced flavors, delightful textures, and creamy sauces that immediately benefit your body in terms of lightness, energy, and radiance. All our recipes are created by chefs who are experts in plant-based raw food, in collaboration with herbalists and naturopaths.

2. Good for the planet

Reduced Carbon Footprint

The vegan diet has the lowest carbon footprint of all dietary patterns, with 0.7kg of CO2 per 1000 consumed calories, compared to 2.23kg for an omnivorous diet. Furthermore, all the products we use are grown, harvested, and produced under the cleanest conditions possible to best respect their ecosystems.

Zero Waste

One-third of the food produced on the planet goes to waste without being consumed. In France, this amounts to 20 to 30 kg of food per person per year, including 7 kg that is still in its packaging. Food waste accounts for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions – more than the aviation sector!!! Since its inception, Wild has been committed to combating this ecological, economic, and humanitarian problem. We optimize everything we produce by carefully considering our recipes from the start. For example, the almond residues used to make our nutmylks are repurposed to create light, healthy, and delicious crackers – the same goes for the fiber-rich pulp from our fruit and vegetable juices. Lastly, we prefer our refrigerators to be empty at the end of the day rather than overproducing and throwing away food. To minimize this risk, we collaborate with the Too Good To Go app, which collects our unsold items each day and sells them at reduced prices.

No Plastic

Every year, 8 million tons of plastic end up in the oceans. This alarming figure doesn't even account for microplastics, those nanoparticles used in the textile, cosmetic, and food industries, among others. According to a recent study from the University of Newcastle, due to these microplastics, a human can unknowingly ingest up to 5 grams of plastic per week... which is equivalent to a credit card! Wild could not claim to be green and contribute to this ecological and health disaster. Special attention has therefore always been given to our packaging. We could have used recycled plastic. However, this short-term solution is insufficient, as plastic is not infinitely recyclable, and even when recycled, it remains plastic. Moreover, in France, only 27% of plastic produced is actually recycled (compared to over 63% in Germany). Since our inception, all our packaging has been made from PLA, a bioplastic composed of plant-based elements. But unlike first-generation bioplastics derived from corn, our packaging is 100% ecological because it doesn't encroach on agricultural land meant to feed living beings. Made from plant residues (flax, hemp, reed, bagasse, shells, seeds, pits, etc.), they pose no risk to the environment, containing no petrochemical materials, being guaranteed biodegradable and industrially compostable, and producing no toxicity in the soil during their biodegradation. Our packaging footprint is thus minimized, especially since they are made in France!

Clean Down to the Last Drop!

To clean our urban jungle without harming it, we use high-quality cleaners whose content and container respect biodiversity... but not the germs, of course.

3. And so delicious...!

No one comes to us just to save the planet, but above all because it's delicious! They are then tested internally until they are 100% approved by a broad spectrum of food enthusiasts, whether they are vegan or not! Because that's also the magic of Wild: everybody loves us to the Moon... and comes back!
